By making a booking you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
A deposit of £150 is payable if the booking is made more than 8 weeks before the holiday start date.
The balance is due 6-8 weeks before the holiday start date.
For bookings made less than 6 weeks before the holiday start date the total rental fee is payable.
Payments can be made via bank transfer.
A refundable security / damages deposit of £100 is payable in addition to the balance when due.
It will be refunded minus any deductions for breakages or additional cleaning costs within a week of departure.
Guests should notify us of any cancellations immediately by 'phone or email.
We will do our very best to re-let the accommodation and if we are able to we will reimburse the guests (minus deposit).
If we are unable to re-let the guest remains liable for the whole amount.
We do advise that you take out a separate holiday insurance including cancellation.
Except where short breaks have been agreed or out of season, The Old Dairy operates a Friday changeover, The Shippen operates a Saturday changeover both commencing at 5pm.
Guests are requested to vacate the accommodation by 9.30am on the day of departure.
Both The Old Dairy and The Shippen are no smoking properties
All linen, towels (except beach towels), heating, electricity, water, initial supply of fuel and complimentary wi-fi are included in the rental fee.
The number of guests occupying the accommodation must not exceed the maximum number stipulated in the accommodation details or as agreed at the time of booking
We accept chicken and cow friendly dogs in our accommodation (maximum of 2) for which an additional fee of £30 will be charged.
In general we find that pet owners are extremely responsible but we do expect our carpets and furnishings to be protected and that all traces of your dogs are removed from inside and outside the accommodation when you leave.
Please ensure that your dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture and that you have provided them with a bed.
Dogs must not be left alone in the accommodation without our consent and must be free from fleas and parasites.
'Granny charging' of EV (ie 3 pin plug via domestic supply) is prohibited under the terms of holiday letting insurance.
We try to ensure our accommodation is prepared to a high standard so our guests can enjoy their stay from the moment they arrive.
If a problem or cause for concern arises please let us know immediately.
It may be necessary for us to gain access to the accommodation during your stay for essential repairs or maintenance - we will liaise with you to minimise any disruption to your stay.
To notify us of any losses or damage to the accommodation and to pay for it.
To take good care of the accommodation and leave it in a clean and tidy condition when you leave.
